Cooking In Spain


Last night, I cooked my first meal here in Barcelona. This was my first time cooking “fuet”, which is a staple meat here in Catalan. I’ve eaten it at a restaurant or two, but the flavor was mixed with others. Last night, though, I tasted its true flavor and liked it. Kale, peppers, onions, chorizo, and tomatoes with a pinch of Himalayan sea salt. I didn’t have cooking oil, so I simmered the meat first, then added the onions and peppers, then the kale. All-in-all, it turned out great. I ate the entire pan in two sittings.
